Relief Line

The city is rushing now to plan and build a subway relief line to relieve the pressure off the existing subway system before new transit systems come on line - For some reason they did realize that this long overdue piece of the puzzle needs to be in place before the rest - I think they are on the right track routing the relief line along Queen Street - I am also in favour of the line taking a slight detour to service the former Unilever site - This area will play a major part in the future development of this city - I am also okay with with the alignment along Pape Avenue - I think the first phase of this line should run from University Avenue to Don Mills and Lawrence (See my map above) - This line is desparately needed before the other transit improvements open for operation
